We are an ethical and passionate, small breeder of Miniature Long Hair Dachshunds based in Brisbane North, Queensland. We aim to breed all puppies true to the breed standard in confirmation and temperament. Puppies are raised in our home environment where they begin essential desensitisation training. All our breeding dogs are health tested to prove that they are without diseases.

The puppies will be brought up primarily as inside dogs with some basic crate training and toilet training. Pups will be de-sensitised to the outdoors by slowly introducing them to our backyard which includes grass, and possibly outside weather such as rain. They will have the opportunity to grow and learn positive dog behaviours (including socialisation and basic commands) from our other adult dachshunds. Our young toddler will also assist in some early exposure to young children!

All puppies will be microchipped and health checked before leaving for their forever homes. Pups will be sent out into the world to live with their fur-ever families from about 10-12 weeks, we will judge this based of the growth and development of individual pups. It is recommended that your new pup gets a health check from your chosen vet within 7 days of joining your household and any issues be brought to our attention immediately.

All puppies will be vaccinated at 6-8 weeks, 10-12 weeks and as the new owner, it would be expected that they receive their third vaccination (upon your vet's advice) at 14-16 weeks with a yearly booster thereafter. Worming treatments will begin from 2 weeks of age and must be continued once they have left for their new homes. Your vet will advise on any other parasite treatments needed including but not limited to tick and flea treatments, heart worm injections or all-wormers, etc.

All our puppies are sold on desexing contracts (unless discussed and agreed otherwise). We believe that it is important to protect our breed and our lines that we have worked so hard to produce.
